Les Visiteurs earrings

Let's travel in time to Paris in the era of Art Deco. Parisian jewellery factory producing high quality, intricately detailed brass stampings. In November 2022 I find the stampings from Puces de Vanves market.

Two antique Art Deco (1920s-30s) brass stampings (size 25mm x 12mm) are turned into a unique pendants for a pair of earrings. They are teamed up with beautifully crafted miniature bird charms that are vintage 1980s, made from crystal glass by Swarovski. A vintage brass chain (previously usused, 1970s chain from the legendary Finnish Aarikka jewellery factory) is adorned with Czech glass and Swarovski crystal beads, wrapped with gold fill wire. Earring hooks are entirely allergy safe niobium.

I don't know what you see here but I see a window of a gothic era building with cast iron decorations on it, some glimmering candle light and a mystical bird observing the scene.

Full length of the earrings is 10cm and they are have nice, comfortable weight, a pleasure to wear. Only two pairs were made and now just the one is remaining. A rare treasure!

I advise you to handle the earrings with gentle care, so that when you are not wearing them, keep them safe in a pouch and separate from other jewellery to avoid tangling. See more jewellery care instructions here!
