Liberté earrings with black spinel

Carefree and light hoops from Temps Perdu collection.

These earrings feature adorable vintage 1980s Swarovski miniature birds that are made in intricate detail out of crystal glass and brushed for a frosty finish. The birds hang from hoops of black spinel gemstones and Czech glass beads. Findings and earring hooks are sterling silver.

Full length of earrings with hook is 6cm, with the diameter of the hoop being approx. 2cm. Very lightweight and comfortable to wear.

The earrings are difficult to capture on camera but as natural light hits the cool, smooth surface of the birds, there is a lovely, soft glow effect. The birds are made with such detail that no matter from which angle you look at them, they always show their best side. A rare find from a little shop in Paris selling vintage beads. The gemstones I also handpicked from a Parisian bead store last year.
